Blue Jays vs. Team Canada, who to cheer for??

Let the games begin! Ok, it’s only a meaningless exhibition game, but I’m really looking forward to today’s game between the Toronto Blue Jays and Team Canada. Jays rotation hopeful Scott Richmond will most likely get the start today…against the Jays! How’s that for pressure. I’m sure the regulars will only get a couple of innings work, but this is just the kind of warm up needed to build the excitement for this tournament. Now the big question…WHO DO I CHEER FOR?? hahaha.
GO JAYS, or CANADA GO!!
Ooh, that must be a tough choice! How about…both!

Yeah. a nice 5-5 tie game would be the ideal finish..lol…I just heard that the Jays won’t be playing any of their starters though, so that may take a little bit of luster of the game. Still get to see Morneau, Bay and Votto at least.
That’s a tough one Iceman! I’m going to pull for Team Canada because Jason Bay is on it! đŸ™‚ I’m glad the Red Sox are not playing Team USA!

I have the same problem Iceman. I’m torn. I love them both.
I think I have to pull for Canada though…it just seems like the right thing to do. I mean, the Jays are a corporate extension of Rogers and has no real allegiance to Canadians per se. Team Canada is Team Canada…gotta go for that one.

Good point Travis. Go Canada…haha. Good thing it’s only one game. Plus I’ve already got the Canada gear for the game on March 7th vs the USA.
I was cheering for Canada because less than half the Jays regulars weren’t even on the field. I like what a I saw from Campbell, Ruiz, Lane and Richmond today. Those guys should add some depth in our farm system this season.
At least the weather gods cancelled the snow this weekend! Should be raining…but above 0! Ready for Saturday? SkyDome will always be SkyDome….it sounds so much better than Rogers Centre.
